Ugh, that feeling when your chronic illness flares and your anxiety skyrockets. Anyone else dealing with this double whammy?
Living with a chronic illness can be stressful enough, but the constant worry about symptoms and flare-ups can definitely trigger anxiety. A study by the Anxiety and Depression Association of America found that up to 50% of people with chronic health conditions also experience anxiety.

Here's the thing: it's totally normal to feel this way. But don't let anxiety win!
Here are some tips that have helped me:
Deep breathing exercises: When I feel a panic attack coming on, I take slow, deep breaths to calm my nervous system.
Meditation: Taking 10 minutes a day to meditate helps me focus on the present moment and reduce stress.
Talk therapy: A therapist can equip you with tools to manage anxiety and develop healthy coping mechanisms.
