About the Course
Hypertension ̶ or elevated blood pressure ̶ is a serious medical condition that significantly increases the risks of heart, brain, kidney and other diseases.
In this 4 week course you will work at your own pace, we want you to take the time to clearly understand the ramifications of this chronic illness which is also known as the "Silent Killer."
The following is what you can expect:
Week 1 - Understanding what hypertension is
Week 2 - Understanding Blood Pressure Measurements
Week 3 - Understanding and demonstrating how to correctly take your blood pressure
Week 4 - Understanding the importance of nutrition and exercise to control and decrease blood pressure readings.
Week 4- Don't allow the White Coat to intimidate you. Having open and honest dialogue with your physician.
